Short biography

Annika Bodemar is an Associate Professsor in sport management at the Department of Sport and Social Sciences and wrote her Phd on Young leadership at major sport events.

Annika Bodemar is an Associate Professor in sport management at the Department of Sport and Social Sciences and wrote her PhD on Aspiring leaders at major sport events. Her research interests include management, leadership, critical management studies, agency, conformity, and qualitative methods with a special interest in aspiring leaders’ agency.

She has a Master of Science from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences with a specialization in sports psychology.

Annika is a former general secretary of the Norwegian Snowboard Association and has been involved internationally with the development of the World Snowboard Federation.
