Research
Sport physiotherapy, anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
Short biography
Anouk is a PhD student in the Department of Sports Medicine. She will study the 10-year outcomes after surgical and non-surgical treatment in patients with anterior cruciate ligament rupture. The project is part of the Delaware-Oslo ACL Cohort Study. The main goal of the project is to assess the long-term results after the two different choices after anterior cruciate ligament injury.
She has a master's degree in Physiotherapy and in Motor Skills from the University UCL in Belgium and completed the IOC Diploma in Sports Physical Therapies. The last years she worked clinically as a physiotherapist in the orthopedic sports medicine clinic in Luxembourg (CHL) and for the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee.
