Short biography
Imre van Kraalingen is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Department of Teacher Education and Outdoor Studies. Her current research aims to develop accounts of how mobile technologies now form a part of contemporary teaching and learning experiences in higher outdoor education in Norway.
Imre has a background in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology (Utrecht University, Netherlands), and holds a master’s degree in Development, Environment and Cultural Change (University of Oslo, Norway). She has previously been involved with CICERO and the Arne Næss Programme.
Imre is also leading the Outdoor Studies Forum.
