Short biography
Ingrid Lian is a PhD student at the Department of Sport and Social Sciences with the project: Nonverbal communication in elite football.
In her Ph.D. project, Ingrid wants to investigate how elite level footballers communicate nonverbally during games. Furthermore, she is interested to see whether nonverbal behavior is linked with performance, culture and contextual factors.
Ingrid has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2019) and a Master’s degree in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology (2021) from Barry University (Miami, Florida) where she also played college soccer. After returning to Norway, Ingrid attended a one-year program at the University of Bergen where she finished a post graduate degree in education with the subject psychology (2022).
