Short biography
Ingvild Grønvold Kåshagen is a PhD student in the Department of Sports Medicine and Oslo Sport Trauma Research Center working on the project: #ReadyToPlay- protecting the health of Norwegian Norwegian elite female football players: Athlete screening, injury prevention strategies and risk management. The projects aims to investigate if there is any association between pre-season fitness and/or a protective effect from strength training during the playing season- and risk of injury. The project is also going to investigate the effect of the use of risk management as a tool for reducing injury risk during playing season.
Ingvild has previously worked as a physiotherapist in the private sector focusing on physical training and sports.
She holds a Bachelor degree in human movement science from NTNU, a bachelor in physiotherapy from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and a master’s degree in Exersice physiology from the Inland Norway University of Appllied Sciences.
