Short biography
Julius Z. Strömberg is a PhD candidate in Sport Management at the Department of Sport and Social Sciences. The title of Julius's PhD project is "Sport (governance) for all?" and deals with the implementation of sport good governance in grassroots sports clubs.
Julius has a bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Dalarna University (2015-19) and a master's degree from Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (2019-21), where his thesis focused on sporting events and the coronavirus pandemic. Julius was employed as a research assistant at the department after completing his studies. In recent years, he has worked both voluntarily and professionally in sporting events (mainly in Holmenkollen Ski Festival) and worked in the Norwegian Billiards Federation.
Julius is an avid runner, cyclist and skier and has competed in running since childhood.
