Short biography

Mari Bratteteig is a researcher at the Department of Sports Medicine, and has a Ph.D. from the same department, in the project Physical Activity among Childhood Cancer Survivors (PACCS). She studied the associations between physical activity and fitness with metabolic risk among children and adolescent cancer survivors. She has previously worked as a project coordinator in a national surveillance study of physical activity and fitness among children and adolescents (ungKan3).

Bratteteig has a master’s degree in Clinical health sciences – Obesity and health from NTNU, and a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Atlantis medical university college.
Former swimmer and swimming coach.
