Interdisciplinary sport injury research

Short biography

Solveig Hausken-Sutter is a researcher at The Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center (OSTRC), the Department of Sports Medicine in the project "Preventing injuries in youth sport through an interdisciplinary and theory-based approach". In this project, Solveig contributes to developing and evaluating an injury prevention intervention focusing on how sociocultural factors prevent or facilitate implementation.

Solveig has a master's degree in health and social psychology from the University of Oslo. She is also a PhD student in sport science at the University of Gothenburg. In her dissertation, Solveig writes about interdisciplinary youth sport injury research in practice.
