Once you have found the book or article in Oria, you must check if the library has got the book or journal (check "Get it").

If the answer is yes, you must find the document on the shelf yourself. Check if there are any copies available and click "Locate" to see which shelf the document is on.

If the answer is not, you must order a copy of the article or request a loan of the book. Log in to MY ACCOUNT with your NIH username/password. Under the information about the document, select "Resource sharing request" under "Get it", and click "Request" at the bottom of the order form.

In the most commonly used databases at NIH, you'll find a Oria icon. By clicking the icon you'll be directed to the order form in Oria:

In PubMed the Oria icon looks like this:

No Oria-icon? You have to search Oria for the journal the article is published in.

NB! You search in NIH's catalogue by default, and you can change to the catalogues of all Norwegian Universities if you get no results in our catalogue:

If you can't find the book/article in Oria or a database, you can select "Can't find it?" in the top menu in Oria to get a blank order form where you can fill in the details and order the book/article:

On average it takes 2-3 days to get the article you ordered, and you'll get a text message or an email when you can pick it up in the shelf next to the self service computer in the library. Staff will find the articles in their post shelves.
