About

The laboratory is used for teaching, student projects and in internal and external research projects. A large part of our research is carried out in combination with other laboratories at NIH. We conduct research on various groups, such as healthy athletes and athletes with asthma and respiratory problems (swimming and cross country skiing), athletes and patients with physical disabilities, and healthy individuals and individuals with asthma and allergies.

Methods

Measurement of lung function, lung volume, airway inflammation and bronchial hyperreactivity (BHR). Physiological variables associated with physical activity and health: health profile testing with measurement of cholesterol, blood pressure and body composition.

Teaching

  • THP205 aktivitetsmedisin 1
  • THP309 aktivitetsmedisin 2
  • THP308 yrkespraksis
