Purpose
Elite sport is taking place in highly specialized and dynamic environments and a new specialized role of the High Performance Manager (HPM) has evolved. The HPM has to be both an operational figure as well as an actual leader and be able to work in a multifaceted area with many interests. The study seeks to explain the similarities and variations on how the HPMs operates in the elite sport.
