Biomekanikk, bevegelsesanalyse, styrketreningsøvelser, skademekanismer og risikofaktorer for korsbåndskader, ankelskader, hodeskader i ballidretter, og alpine idretter.

Kort biografi

Tron Krosshaug er professor ved Senter for idrettsskadeforskning og Institutt for idrettsmedisinske fag ved Norges idrettshøgskole, og forsker primært på idrettsskader og styrketrening. I sitt doktorgradsarbeid utviklet han en ny metode for å estimere leddvinkler fra videoer av skadesituasjoner som seinere har blitt benyttet av forskere over hele verden. Denne metoden har blant annet gitt ny, verdifull innsikt i skademekanismene for fremre korsbåndskader.

Krosshaug foreleser innen biomekanikk og funksjonell anatomi, styrke-, utholdenhet- og bevegelighetstrening.

Krosshaug er også gründer med selskapet Muscle Animations og har utviklet styrketreningsappene STYRK!, MA Biomek og MA Basis4 som er lastet ned av over100.000 nordmenn. Krosshaug har utviklet omfattende e-læringsressurser som brukes på NIH samt flere andre undervisningsinstitusjoner nasjonalt og internasjonalt
