Kort om emnet

Emnet er en fordypning i trenerens samhandling med omgivelsene, med spesiell vekt på trenerens pedagogiske virksomhet og sosiale kompetanse. Hensikten med emnet er å kritisk undersøke sentrale aspekter ved egen og andres trenervirksomhet med den hensikt å utvikle en etisk fundert, effektiv og reflektert praksis. Det oppfordres til at studentene samtidig med emnet har praksis som trener, instruktør eller lærer.

Læringsutbytte

Studenten skal etter gjennomført emne kunne

  • identifisere og reflektere over hvordan spesifikke historiske, kulturelle og sosiale kontekster former og påvirker identitetsutvikling og trenervirksomhet.
  • identifisere og reflektere over de etiske aspektene ved egen og andres idrettspraksis trener/veiledervirksomhet.
  • reflektere og drøfte hvordan kompleksitet, herunder dilemmaer og motsetninger, best kan håndteres i idrettspraksis og trenerhverdagen.
  • reflektere og drøfte hvordan sosialt samspill og mikropolitiske handlinger påvirker idrettspraksisen og trenerhverdagen.
  • vurdere og anvende pedagogiske prinsipper for å fremme utvikling og prestasjon som trener og veileder.

Læringsformer og aktiviteter

Emnet baserer seg på en kombinasjon av forberedelse og deltakelse i forelesningstimer og seminaraktivitet, inkludert arbeid med seminaroppgaver.

Arbeidskrav

  • 80 % obligatorisk oppmøte på seminar
  • To skriftlige seminaroppgaver
    • Seminaroppgavene fokuserer på at studenten skal anvende relevant teori og empiri for å utvikle egen praksiskompetanse i egen idrett, i samspill med lærere og medstudenter.

Arbeidskravet må være godkjent for å kunne gå opp til eksamen.

Vurdering/eksamen

En ukes hjemmeeksamen. Gradert karakter A-F.

  • Skal inneholde maksimalt 2500 ord.
