Short biography

Thomas Mangor Jørgensen Olsen is a Ph.D.-student at the Department of Sport and Social Sciences, where he is affiliated with the Research Center for Child and Youth Sport (FOBU). In his doctoral project, he investigates the importance of motivation for participation and enjoyment in the children-to-youth sport transition.

In 2021, he graduated with a master's degree in sports science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. In addition, he holds a one-year Practical Pedagogical Education (PPU) with subjects in Physical Education and Social Studies, as well as courses equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from NTNU.
