Content
This program is entirely web-based. Student are admitted to the study program and then choose a course. Admission is granted for four semesters. The right to study requires semester registration. Please note that the courses are completed in both autumn and spring semesters.

Other information
Online student
- All learning resources are ready for you when you start, so there are no traditional lectures.
- At the start of the semester, you are assigned a subject contact who guides you through the course.
- Shorter online subjects can be easily combined with work or other studies.
- Study rights are granted for four semesters and active study rights require semester registration.
- When you have active study rights (study rights for four semesters), you should choose which subjects you want to take at the beginning of each semester. You do this in Studentweb.
- You cannot transfer partially completed subjects to the following semester. Then you have to start the subject anew.
- Students taking individual subjects can take a maximum of 30 credits per academic year.
- The subjects are designed so that you decide when you want to start after the semester starts, and last one semester.
- The subjects can be included in a Bachelor's degree, and each student must check this with their own institution or alternatively apply for inclusion in later studies.
Semester fee
If you pay the semester fee at another college/university in Norway, you are exempt from this with us. Documentation (receipt of payment) must be presented to NIH within the payment deadline.
Tuition fee
Students with citizenship from countries outside Norway, the EU/EEA and Switzerland, must pay tuition fee to NIH. International exchange students from partner institutions are exempt from the tuition fee.
